Not the 'Twain! Not the 'Twain!

There are days when I go to the office.
There are days when I stay at my home.
But rare is the day, in the dear month of May,
When hither and thither I roam.
Declining to make a decision
And wandering aimlessly 'twain
Is libel to make a guy dizzy and lost
And maybe caught out in the rain.
One or the other is better
This is most certainly true.
So see you tomorrow at home or at office
That is my promise to you.

My world is dull and serious while your poetry is light and airy. On your words my mind will float, on your ideas my mind will drift. CRASH! I just fell back into my world! Love your blog! Funny!

Thanks Irene. I can be plenty earnest, but I prefer to be light-hearted here.

When the temperature gets above 50,
and the rain doesn't spit in one's eye,
and the winds aren't high and shifty,
to mock those who would climb to the sky,
then one ought to be home,
and not out on a roam,
pursuing or spending one's wealth,
for the awnings do cry,
in the sweet by and by
and they won't go up by themself.

Hmm, that sounded like a call to duty.
