Fly Tape (a reflection in brief prose)

We once visited a farm.
The farm had flies.
Many, many flies.
I blame the cows.
And their... you know.
We had had enough.
We bought fly tape.
And hung it.
The flies were curious.
"What is this hanging thing?
Sure smells good!"
And they landed.
Big mistake.
"We are stuck!"
Yes, they were stuck.
Tape is sticky.
My cousin was there.
He and I counted the flies.
Their misfortune was fun.
It's okay.
They were only flies.

I bet this little piece of brilliance took some long, careful, and deliberate thought. Or, as the king of the lemurs in the movie Madagascar would say: " After many deep and profound brain thingies inside my head"...

If you use fly tape to catch a fly, would gorilla tape catch a gorilla?

Gorilla tape? No. It takes Gorilla Glue to stop a gorilla. And plenty of it!

Okay, so what am I supposed to do with all these ducks I now have hanging over the workbench in my garage?

NW, that's easy. Declare a feast day and invite the losers of the community to come and eat. But there's no need to limit it to the Vikings and the DFL, invite everyone!
