I think I have an ecumenical confusion, but who can be sure? The universal nature of the catholic church confuses me all the time too. Just this week I was at mass when the story of the passion was told and I found out they are now telling the abridged version and the two others on the cross were revolutionaries and not criminals...I would have thought in the intervening 2,000 years they would have at least figured that out.

I certainly buy into the confusion at Easter, but then again mine is not limited to a particular season.
Would then your confusion be ecumenical or catholic?
