The Blizzard

It snowed and snowed throughout the day
The winter sky was shaking
All the dandruff from its hair.
Now that's what I call flaking!
Shovelers were saying curses,
"Blast this snow to hell!"
Sorry friends, you're out of luck
'Cause it already fell.

The snow blankets the state
Like a giant serving of lutafisk
And weighing just as much

It comes, as a gift from above
To what end is yet unknown
But Giants travel East

So from the Dome the Vikes will play
As if at home on Monday
In a place unused to home wins

If I had a bet to make,
I would neither team take.

I'm a Packers fan (which was tough sledding today,) so I'll be rooting for the Vikings out of self-interest.

A giant slab of lutefisk? Now that's enough to keep people indoors!
